Udupi: 2,976 Students to Take up CET in City

Udupi, May 5: 2,976 students will be attending the Combined Entrance Test for the professional courses, which has the potential to make or mar their future, in six centres located in the city on May 6 and 7. The centres are, government girls PU college, Vidodaya PU college, government PU college, MGM PU college, Manipal PU college and Poornaprajna PU college.

Biology test is scheduled to be held on the morning of May 6 while mathematics is the subject for the afternoon session. Physics and chemistry will be held in the morning and afternoon sessions on May 7 respectively.

One invigilator per 16 students will officiate during the test. Every centre has been allotted with a deputy chief superintendent, custodian, observer and two members of  the special vigilance squad. Deputy commissioner of the district will act as the chief superintendent for the examination, said deputy director of PU education, Cheluvappa.
