Udupi, May 7: Rotary Club, Katpady, bagged 21 awards from Rotary International, under Rotary district 3180, recently.  Katpady Rotary Club has been leading in social service in the rural area here.
 
Rotary district governor K Krishna Shetty presented the awards to Katpady Rotary Club president and Vijaya Solar proprietor K Satyendra Pai, during the awards presentation ceremony held recently at Mysore Golf Club.

Rotary district awards committee chairman S K Nagendran, assistant governor Raja Patrao, Katpady Rotary secretary Appu Poojary, past president Srikar Anchan, Ramesh Bhandary, Harish Rao, and Jagdish Kamath, were present at the occasion.
 
Katpady Rotary Club has been serving society for the past seven years, and has bagged 21 awards, including one for making optimum use of the ‘Matching Grant Project’, for organizing workshops for students on fast learning, vocational guidance, social service, and customers’ awareness.
