Mangalore: Scattered Rainfall in Twin-districts Provides Relief to Some Areas

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, May 7: The city and places like Beltangady, Ullal, Udupi, Brahmavar, Kaup, Shirva, Mudarangady, Talapady and several other villages received some rains after midnight on Tuesday May 5. On Wednesday evening, light showers were experienced at a few places like Hebri, Soorinje near Suratkal etc.

Both the districts have been witnessing overcast skies in the evening hours since the last many days, giving rise to hopes of good rains, but heavy rains have remained elusive. In areas where the rainfall was good, people could enjoy a good night's sleep while in others, heightened temperature coupled with power cuts robbed the people of their sleep.
