Mangalore: Retaliation for Kashimji Murder - City Police Team in Mumbai

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (SP)

Mangalore, May 7: Dakshina Kannada district superintendent of police Dr Subrahmanyeshwar Rao said that a special team of the district police has been dispatched to Mumbai on Wednesday May 6, to interrogate the accused, who have been arrested by the Mumbai police for their alleged plans to kill city-based lawyers for representing men from Ravi Poojary gang in court cases.

The arrested criminals, supposedly belonging to the gang of underworld criminal Chota Shakeel, a rival of Ravi Poojary, reportedly had hatched a conspiracy to avenge the killing of advocate Naushad Kashimji here, as men hired by Ravi Poojary had allegedly executed this murder. They were arrested by the Mumbai Crime Branch policemen from Nagpada, before they left for Mangalore.

Excellent ! Our Kudla police couldn''t arrest the real killers of Naushad Kashimji. They seem to be very much interested in going all the way to Mumbai for interrogation.Wish they were equally determined and interested in arresting the real accused in Naushad Kashimji murder case.
