Bangalore, May 7: The meteorological department has predicted that the monsoon will begin in the state as usual, on June 5. At the same time, the sources in Karnataka Natural Calamities Management Centre said the monsoon might enter the state by May 25.

The meteorological department says, the monsoon will enter Kerala coast on May 25, and may take about five days to soak the state's coast. Still, there is a possibility that monsoon will start in both the states at the same time.
