Mangaluru, Jun 29: Tasmayi Shetty and Arjun Kotian of Mangalore Roller Skating Club won Gold medal at the State Level Speed Skating Championship held at Mysore recently.
About 250 competitors participated in the championship. Four skaters of Mangalore Roller Skating Club participated in the championship and won 7 medals.
Tasmayi Shetty from Sharada Vidyalaya Kodialbail won two gold medals, Arjun Kotian from Canara Urwa School won one gold medal and two silver medals, Aradhya Acharya from Lourdes Central School Bejai bagged a silver medal and Hannah Rose Fernandes from St Aloysius Gonzaga School won a bronze medal.
The skaters are trained by Sharanya Mahesh, international skater of Mangalore Roller Skating club.
