Kundapur, Jun 29: The new building of government pre university college and tinkering lab was inaugurated here on Saturday, June 29.

MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty who inaugurated Atal tinkering lab said that contributions by donors are important in the growth of educational institutes. He said that he is congratulating on behalf of the college, Sathish Pai who donated lab and seminar hall in the name of his mother.

Donor Sathish Pai inaugurated Muktha Pai Bhandarkar lab and seminar hall block constructed at a cost of Rs forty lacs. He said that education is the foundation of life and good education enables success in life. “Everybody should get good education. It was the dream of my mother too. She too had studied here,” he said.

School development committee vice president Solomon Soans, Mohan Bhandarkar Kundapur, Sathish Pai’s wife Venwin Pai, Ratna Kamath Kundapur and municipal councilor Mohandas Shenoy were present.

Sathish Pai couple who donated the building was felicitated on behalf of the college by presenting panchaloha idol of Krishna deity. College Principal Subrahmanya Joshi welcomed gave an introductory address and introduced donor Sathsih Pai. Vice principal Madhava Adiga rendered vote of thanks. Lecturer Udaya Shetty compered the programme.
