Udupi, June 29: “A systematic plan will be prepared involving district administration and Manipal University to prevent traffic congestion in Manipal,” said DC Hephsiba Rani Korlapati.
She was speaking in a meeting held in DC’s office on Saturday, June 29. She asked for a plan from Manipal University architect department for the purpose.
She asked for provision for footpath, bus stops, bicycle tracks and other needs in the plan. She said that she will be holding a meeting with national highway authorities to obtain their suggestions in this connection.
