Mangaluru, Jul 1: ICYM Cordel celebrated ‘Laudatho Si’, an environmental awareness programme on Sunday, June 30.
All the weekend masses particularly focused on ‘Laudatho si'. Fr Victor Machado, parish priest, Fr Lawrence Cutinho, assistant parish priest, Fr Ashwin Cardoza, resident priest, along with the ICYM youths planted saplings around the church premises.
Fr Victor Machado spoke on the occasion and requested parishioners to conserve and preserve nature.
Later, around 500 saplings were distributed to the parishioners and were advised to plant them in their houses.
