Mangaluru: Team We Are United distributes 25 first aid kits at various traffic junctions

Mangaluru, Jul 1: On the occasion of Doctors’ Day, 25 first aid kits were distributed at various traffic junctions by team We Are United.

Speaking to reporters, Dr Sudhir Hegde said, “We are doing this little drive, keeping in mind the wellbeing of the citizens of Mangaluru. Whenever any accident occurs, if first aid is administered on time, the chances of survival and recovery are better.”

The first kit was given to the Mangaluru city police commissioner Sandeep Patil. Later on, to DCP Hanumanthraya and DCP Laxmi Ganesh.

Advisor Dr Ananth Prabhu G added, “We are United has always carried out unique initiatives, to make Mangalore Cleaner, Greener, Healthier and Friendlier. Some of our previous initiatives were Blanket Distribution Drive, Social Book shelf with free books, Tree plantation etc. This time, on the occasion of Doctors Day, we are going to ensure that, basic first aid facility will be available at every junction. We would like to wholeheartedly thank the Police Department for the support extended.”



President of We are United Azfar Razzack, J Koragappa, trustee Vikaas Group of Institutions, Sandalwood actress Tanuja Pawar, Anil D’Silva, Safa, Runal Mohammad and others were present.
