The only reason would be over  speeding. As I know, the road condition is good. Driver should have been bit careful in Ghat section. Also Drivers should get adequate rest and sleep who drive during night journeys. KSRTC Corporation should consider problems faced by drivers who drive during night. Also it is driver''s negligence or may be pressure on driver of over speeding to reach early.

These volvo bus drivers thinks they drive as if they are in the racing track , it is true that volvo buses are capable to go at high speeds with good maneuring and control but at what cost.I have seen these drivers unnecessarily drives at high speed as if they are driving some small car. When they will realise they have got huge reponsibility of passengers who are totally dependent on them to reach home safely.

Either these bus drivers needs some Psychiatrist or put some speed governers in these buses. These people think if bus can go at 200kmph they want to drive at that speed only at the cost of passengers life. They should know safety is above all priorities. Concerned authorities please take some action before it is too late.

STRINGENT ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAINST DRIVER. RECKLESS DRIVING IS THE MAIN REASON FOR MAJOR ACCIDENTS. IT IS VERY SAD THAT FIVE YOUNG PERSONS DIED & SHOCKING NEWS FOR RESPECTIVE FAMILY. KSRTC & RESPECTIVE DRIVERS SHOULD BE HELD RESPONSIBLE. LAST WEEK NEAR UDANE FIVE PERSONS WERE KILLED . KSRTC SHOULD COME UP WITH TRAINING OF GOOD DRIVERS.

The only reason for all these accidents is bad and narrow roads.None of the governments have ever interested in widening the roads. We have thousands of lawyers in Karnataka who are not interested to file PIL with Supreme Court on the road issue.
