Amitha Naik (21), daughter of Shadigundi resident Laxman Naik, is the missing girl.

Amitha had been to the rivulet on Wednesday, July 3, informing at home that she will come back after washing clothes. Family members, who grew anxious as she did not return even after long time, went to the rivulet and found only the clothes brought for washing long with her footwear.
