Mangaluru: St Joseph Vaz Church, Mudipu celebrates Green Sunday

Mangaluru, Jul 4: St Joseph Vaz Church, under the initiative of Parish Pastoral Parishad observed ‘Green Sunday’ on June 30.

After the morning Mass, symbolically a sapling was planted by Fr Benjamin Pinto, parish priest; Fr Shaun Rodrigues, assistant parish priest along with the vice-president and secretary of Parish Pastoral Parishad.

Catholic Sabha gave their helping hand to the programme.

Fr Benjamin Pinto gave a call to all parishioners to preserve the nature and hand it over safely to the coming generation.



Saplings were distributed by ICYM members to all.
