Mangaluru, Jul 5: Drinking water supply to several parts of the city was affected as technical problem was encountered at the pump house located near the dam at Thumbay that supplies water to the city.
The problem was noticed in the high power cables at Thumbay. As such, supply of water to the pump house at Padil was suspended on Wednesday night.
As repair was not conducted on Thursday too, some parts of the city including Kankanady and Pumpwell did not get water supply.
The city corporation sources sated that possibly repair would be undertaken on Friday and water supply would remain paralyzed on Friday too.
