Mangaluru: ABVP holds protests urging stringent punishment to Puttur gang rape culprits

Mangaluru, Jul 6: Akhila Bharathi Vidharthi Parishad held protests in Mangaluru on Saturday, July 6 urging for stringent punishment for suspects of gang rape on Puttur based student. They also urged action against those who spread false accusations that the suspects are ABVP activists and against drug mafia.

ABVP city secretary Vikas Katipalla addressing the protesters said that none of the gang rape suspects are ABVP activists. He requested for action against drug mafia that has spread widely in the district.

ABVP Mangaluru assistant secretary Sandesh Rai Majakkaru, Keerthan Das, Sampath, Sanketh, Madhura, Varshita, Aditya, Dheeraj and students of various colleges were present.
