Mangalore: Mass Suicide Attempt - Family Members Recovering

Mangalore, Jun 8: Henry D'Souza and his family members, who had tried to commit suicide en masse by consuming a large number of sleeping pills on Saturday June 6 morning, are recovering. Leticia, Henry's wife and his elder daughter Anita have been shifted to the ward from the intensive care unit of the private hospital where they are being treated.

Henry, his son Jossy and younger daughter Savita continue to be in the intensive care unit. Hospital sources confirmed, there is considerable improvement in their health condition.

It may be recalled the neighbourers had found the family members lying unconscious after consuming an overdose of sleeping pills at their residence at the nick of time and admitted them to a private hospital in the city on Saturday, as a result of which they could be saved.
