Mangalore: Muslim Writers' Association holds Training Workshop for Journalists

City-based Muslim Writers’ Association organized a day-long training workshop for writers and journalists at Hidayat Centre Auditorium, located at Bibi Alabi Road here, on Sunday June 7.
 
Journalist Chidambar Baikampady, after inaugurating the training workshop here on Sunday, advised writers and columnists to pen their experiences applying, their own discretion. 
 
Articles should be precise and focused on human values, he added.

The thoughts flash across frequently during leisure, are the essence of literature.  The writing should highlight human values and characters.  The journalist should have new perspective on every issue and improvise the same with his own experiences in life, elaborated resource person and critic Eshwaraiah. 
 
Journalist N A M Ismail explained the duties of journalists and writers and their priorities to make a crisp, interesting report.
 
Association president Sayeed Ismail presided over the programme.
 
‘Sanmarga Kannada’ publication editor Abdul Khader Kukkila shared his media experiences with the gathering.
 
Ummer U H spoke on the occasion.  Association chief secretary Ahmed Anwar compered the programme.
