Kundapur, Jun 9: A tipper that was recklessly being driven on the national highway 17, entered a petrol bunk located at Trasi Junction on Monday June 8, after its driver lost control over the vehicle.

It hit a man named Jatta Mogaveera (45) who was busy filling petrol to his two-wheeler and injured him, before moving ahead and mowing down two pumps standing in the bunk. The damage caused to the petrol bunk in the incident is estimated to be around Rs 12 lac.

A case was registered at Gangolly police station in this regard, on a complaint filed by Girish Nayak.
