Moodbidri: Bus Tumbles near Anegudde - Four Injured

Moodbidri, Jun 9: In an incident that occurred in the afternoon of Monday June 8 at Anegudde bend near Dharegudde near here, the driver of a bus lost control over the vehicle, as a result of which the bus tumbled to the road, resting on its side. Five passengers were injured in the incident.

Sumati (35) from Kellaputtige, wife of Premashekhar from Balpe sustained grave injuries to her neck and throat. She has been admitted into a hospital in Mangalore. Her brother Vasant suffered head injuries. A lady named Suekha Daregudde sustained injuries to her waist. Suneeta (24), working as nurse in Udupi suffered head and abdomen injuries. A local person named Vittal was injured in his leg. The other four are being treated in a local hospital.
