Kalaburagi, Aug 17: A youth who came to the city to meet his ailing elder sister in a hospital was brutally murdered. The murder took places at the Vasanth Nagarl Park near Kamareddy Hospital here on the night of Thursday August 15.
The victim, Ravikumar Poojary (33) from Aland town, was murdered. He used to work in a bakery at Pune. He had come here to meet his elder sister, who was admitted into the said hospital for the surgery of her leg, on Thursday August 15 evening. His body was found in a pool of blood inside the park on Friday morning.
It is suspected that miscreants would have sensed that he had good amount of cash with him. It is suspected that the killers would have snatched away cash from him and escaped after killing him in the park when he resisted. The police have begun investigation into the incident.
