Daijiworld Media Network - Mumbai (SHP)

Mumbai, Sep 8: The mega blocks for Central and Western Railway were cancelled on Sunday bringing much-needed relief to residents of Mumbai. Post the removal of the mega block, the rail transport was carried out smoothly, as trains began operating since Sunday morning.

The trains are functioning on all corridors from Main line, Harbour, Trans-Harbour and Uran 1.

According to Shivaji Sutar, Central Railway's chief spokesperson, Western Railway's suburban and long-distance trains were facing minor delays as a result of poor visibility and continuous downpour.
