Fourth edition of the Mangaluru round of Ideals Roto Quiz held

Mangaluru, Sep 10: The fourth edition of the Mangalore round of Ideals Roto Quiz was held on September 8 at SDM PG cenrtre.

President, secretary, youth service director, chairman youth service along with four other rotarians, president of Rotaract Club of Bengaluru and 8 Rotaractors from Rotary Club Bengaluru and Cantonment attended the same. As many as 60 teams from 45 colleges in and around Mangaluru participated.

KMC Mangalore, Nitte College of Mass Communications, Mahesh PU College and NITK Surathkal were the four finalists. NITK Suruthkal emerged as the winners and Mahesh PU College as runners up. The two teams will go on to attend the Bengaluru final round of the 60th version of Ramnarayan Chellarams Roto quiz on September 16 hosted by Rotary Club and Rotaract Clubs Bengaluru.

Mukund Kamath, proprietor of Ideals and sponsor was the chief guest for the inaugural. For the prize distribution, Rtn PDG Surya Prakash Bhat and assistant governor Rtn Sumith Rao, director of SDM PG Centre Seema Shenoy, president, secretary, youth service director, Rotaract chairman presidents of SDM Rotaract Rtr Shamith Shetty and Besant Rotaract Rtr Kavyashree along with many other Rotarians and Rotaractors were present. Rtn SVL Narayan from Rotary Club Bengaluru was the quiz master.
