Karkala, Sep 11: Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal Mavinakatte unit and Belman zone held rural sports in slush fields in Belman on September 8.
Nandalike Laxmi Janardhan temple managing trustee Tukaram Shetty inaugurated the tournament. RSS leader Shivaprasad gave main speech.
VHP Belman zone president Prasad Shetty Kadikambala chaired the programme.
Mundkoor gram panchayat vice president Ravindra Shetty, entrepreneur Diwaker Shetty, VHP Belman zone honorary president Nithyananda Shetty, Bhajrang Dal Goraksha leader Suraj Kumar, Mahammayi Yuvaka Mandala president Sandeep Acharya, Mavinakatte unit convener Santhosh Shetty and others were present. Several sports were held in the slush fields later.
