Byndoor: Block Congress, Youth Congress protest over financial crisis in country

Byndoor, Sep 12: Byndoor block Congress and youth Congress held protests in front of taluk office here over financial crisis being faced in the country, price rise, unemployment and delay tactics is providing compensation to flood victims in north Karnataka. The protesters submitted a memorandum to the government through Byndoor tahsildar.

Byndoor block Congress president Madankumar said that instability is rampant in the country. “BJP which is leading the governments at the centre and the state which should have upheld stable government and social justice is spending days thinking over buying MLAs and foreign tours. It is practising dictatorship without providing even a paisa towards disastrous floods in 22 districts in the state. They should release Rs 40 thousand crores to the affected farmers immediately,” he urged.

Block president S Madan Kumar, Youth Congress president Shekar Poojary Uppunda, district panchayat member Gauri Devadiga, Taluk panchayat president Mukambu Devadiga, Block chief secretary Nagaraja Ganiga, Mohan Poojary, Vasudev Poojary, state backward class secretary Subrahmanya Poojary, Ganesh Poojary, labour unit president Manjunath Poojary, Narasimha Devadiga, Chikku Poojary, Suresh Hobalidar, Narayan Kharvi, Vinayak Rao, Deepak Navunda, Veerabhadra Ganiga, Manikya, Umesh Devadiga, Suresh Beskur, Rajesh Kambadakone, Nagesh Kharvi, Harish Maravante and other activists were present.
