Puttur: Accidental shot from licensed gun, two injured

Puttur, Sep 2: Abdul Aziz (65), a resident of Enne Gadde of Panaje village in the taluk has a licensed gun. On September 27, at around 10.45 pm the ammunition of the gun fell down accidentally causing a minor explosion in the house. This has caused minor injuries to hands and legs of Abdul Khalil and Sinan.

The injured are admitted to the hospital. Police have investigated the incident and came to a prima facie conclusion that the unsafe manner in which the gun was kept by licence holder of the gun Abdul Aziz is the cause of this incident. Suitable legal action will be taken against him.
