E-autorickshaws in Mumbai to be different colour for distinction

Mumbai, Sep 30: E-autorickshaws in the city are likely to have a white hood with a blue body. The different colour is to distinguish the EV from the rest and recently was approved by the Mumbai State Transport Authority.

The E-autos claim to be environment-friendly and noiseless. These vehicles might even carry a number-plate which has a green background.

An E-auto for the demo was brought in from Pune for the drivers of the Mumbai region.
