Mumbai: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha holds eleventh annual meeting

Mumbai, Sep 30: Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangha held its eleventh annual general meeting at Rajyog hotel auditorium, Bandra east on September 24. President of the sangha, Rons Bantwal chaired the meeting.

Vice-president, Ranga S Poojary, honorary chief secretary Ashok S Suvarna, honorary secretary Ravindra Shetty Talipadi, joint secretary, Jayarama N Shetty, joint treasurer, Dr G P Kusuma and Patrakartara Bhavan committee president, Dr Shiva Moodigere were on the dais. Ashok S Suvarna welcomed the gathering and read the report of the previous general body meeting. Nagesh Poojary Elinje presented the previous year’s accounts. Ravindra Shetty Talipadi gave details of the previous year’s activities. Shiva Moodigere gave an insight of future activities.

CA I R Shetty was reappointed auditor for 2019-20. I R Shetty who was appointed as president of Javab was felicitated on behalf of the sangha.

Executive committee members Vishwanath Poojary Niddodi, Dr Dinesh Shetty Renjala, Nagaraj K Devadiga, Ashok R Devadiga, Preetham N Devadiga, Jayanth K Suvarna, specially invited member Savita S Shetty, Karunaker V Shetty and other members were present.



S Daya, Gopal Trasi, Dr Dinesh Shetty Renjala and Mohan S Reddy gave suggestions for the progress of the sangha. Specially invited active members Harish Moodbidri Pune, Araif Kalakatta Mangaluru and other elite were honored with fruits and flower bouquets. Homage was paid in the beginning of the meeting to all the journalists who passed away last year. Jayaram N Shetty rendered the vote of thanks.
