Mangaluru, Oct 1: Mandd Sobhann is going to celebrate International Music Day through its singing committee on Oct 6 at 6.30 pm at the auditorium of Kalangan at Shaktinagar in the city.
Twin brothers Ronald D'Silva and Donald D'Silva of Malpe in the district of Udupi will be felicitated on the occasion. These brothers are renowned throughout the state in the repair of all kinds of musical instruments for the past 50 years. Donald D'Silva is skilled in repairing Brass band related instruments, while Ronal D'Silva is known for his expertise in string musical instruments. In addition, they also lead their Blue Ribbon Band team.
After the felicitation, as a part of the 214th Monthly Repertory programme, variety entertainment programme called 'Sangeet Sansar' will be presented.
