Ambernath conducts Plog Run on Oct 2 as tribute to Gandhi

Ambernath, Oct 1: On the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatama Gandhi, Ambernath Municipal Council is organizing India Plog Run. The Council has claimed that this would be a means to give tribute to Gandhi.

A Plog Run involves the collection of waste from the surrounding while jogging. The chief of AMC claimed that this initiative is to create awareness among the public to be plastic-free.

The India Plog Run held on October 2, will possibly witness more than 250,000 participants from around 50 cities of India.
