Bantwal, Oct 2: It has been reported that a resident of Kadeshwallya here hanged himself on Monday September 30.
The victim of the incident was Shivaprasad Nayak (36). He was an electrician by profession and resident of Bellur in Kadeshwallya village.
On Monday morning, he had left home for the stated purpose of tethering the family cow on a hillock for grazing. But he had not returned home. When the family members went searching for him, he was found to be hanging to the end of a noose tied to the branch of a tree.
It is said that he had left a letter stating that he was wholly responsible for his death. On the basis of complaint made by Radhakrishna Nayak, a local, a case was registered at the rural police station here.
