Mangaluru - Annual feast of the Guardian Angel church celebrated with pomp and grandeur

Mangaluru, Oct 2: The Guardian Angel Church Angelore, Mangalore celebrated the Titular feast of the Guardian Angel on Oct 2.

Rev Fr Mathew Vas, the parish priest of Kinnigoli was the main celebrant for the feast along with the city Varado priests and other guest priests presided over the Holy Eucharist.

Rev Fr Rahul Dsouza in his homily said that we are all the children of God and we should tread the path of Jesus living in harmony and rendering our help to our needy brothers and sisters.

Thousands of faithful took part in the celebration.

Rev Fr William Menezes the parish priest thanked everyone present for the festal celebration. Number of people were seen lighting candles to receive blessings of the Almighty.

In the evening the Angelore Artists organised a cultural evening with dance and drama which enthralled the audience.

People celebrated the Annual feast with fun and gaiety.

The confraternity Sunday was observed on Sunday, Sept 29, with concelebrated mass offered by Rev Fr Ronald Serrao, the Rector of St. Joseph Seminary Mangalore and thereafter the Eucharistic Procession from the church to Capitanio School and concluded with Benediction.
