Mangaluru: Man from Kavoor Padavu commits suicide

Mangaluru, Oct 4: Anand (58), from Kavoorpadavu hanged himself inside a room in his house on the evening of Thursday, October 3.

It is said that Anand was heavily addicted to liquor. On Tuesday and Wednesday, he created ruckus in his house and tossed around things considered divine and connected with Daivas. After coming back to senses, he had repented his action.

At 6 pm on Thursday, he hanged himself when he was all alone in the house. The other family members returned home at around 7.30 pm and found that Anand took his own life.

Kavoor police visited the spot, conducted an inquest, and registered a case of unnatural death.
