Bengaluru: IMA scam - High court serves notice to CBI

Bengaluru, Oct 5: Relating to the bail application filed by Qaleem Ulla Jamal, one of the accused in the multi-crore IMA scam, the high court has served notice to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

A single judge bench of the high court presided over by Justice K N Phaneendra, which heard the bail petition, served notice to CBI, asking it to file objections to the application.

The hearing into the bail application has been posted to October 9. Jamal has been accused of acquiring property in the name of his wife out of the money he received from IMA company.
