Bengaluru: One more city firm booked for Ponzi scheme

Bengaluru, Oct 7: A firm in R T Nagar in the city is booked for allegedly cheating its investors.

The firm in question was luring the customers with the promise of giving 40% monthly interest. The owner and other personnel of Himmel Advisory LLP was booked by the R T Nagar police for luring and cheating people. The company has its office at Timmiah Nagar on R T Nagar main road.

The activities of the firm came to light when Naushad an investor with the company filed a complaint with the police alleging Naziya Sirajuddin, owner of the firm and her brother Mohsin of not returning his money when he demanded and also threatened to file false cases against the investor.

Rs four lac was invested from January by the complainant Naushad with the firm. However, the money was not returned to him when he demanded. Moreover, the owner and her brother threatened Naushad with dire consequences, when he kept on pestering them for his money. Naushad was shocked to see that the office of the company locked, when he visited last week. In addition, the mobile phones of the owner and her brother were also switched off.

In this ponzi scheme company investors were given the offer of cars and residential plots against achieving a target. The accused are on the run now. Police is collecting more information from the other investors.
