Kasargod: Sub-registrar held for trying to sexually harass lady

Kasargod, Oct 10: A government official was arrested by the policemen attached to Kadambula station on the basis of complaint filed by a lady against him. The incident reportedly happened on Wednesday October 9.

It is said that the official, identified as Joy (51), resident of Kundara, had tried to sexually harass a lady when travelling by bus. He happens to be the sub-registrar of Hosdurg.

The police are investigating.

    The fact that she was harassed during her travel in bus.why did she not complain during travel to the conductor or driver immediatelly and ask to change her seat.?It would have been useful to throw him out then and there to complain first.Later noone will believe.still better later complain than never.He should be punished and cancel his job.

    Policemen arrested the accused on the basis of complaint filed by a lady against him. If a MP rapes a lady it takes 18 days for the SIT to arrest the culprit. So, Kasargod police are more efficient than SIT?
