Bantwal: Workshop on Education Initiative ‘Nali–Kali’ on Aug 8

Bantwal, Aug 4: A workshop on ‘Nali–Kali’, an educational programme introduced in various government schools in Dakshina Kannada district, will be held at B C Road here by the Taluk Education Resources Centre on Saturday August 8.  

Education department officers will participate as resource persons at the workshop to be held at the Taluk Panchayat SJRY auditorium at 2.30 pm on Saturday. 

It is being organized by the Centre under the direction of ‘Velorade’ (NGO) to discuss the confusions that prevail over ‘Nali–Kali’ and the benefits of the initiative. 

A quarterly meeting of the Centre will also be held on the occasion.

Centre president Umesh Nirmal, in a press release, urged the members of the education committee, gram panchayats, presidents and members of school development committees, and people concerned with public education to attend the meeting and workshop.
