Mumbai, Oct 28: Bandra east resident, Sunder A Karkera (77) passed away due to illness at B N Desai hospital, Santacruz east on the night of Friday October 24.

He hailed from Mundkoor, Moodbidri and resided at Siddivinayak housing society, Bandra east.

He indulged in hotel industry, had social concern and was involved in pro-people service.

He has left behind a wife, two sons, a daughter, friends and relatives.
