Thane, Oct 29: Mumbra police on Monday arrested a man for allegedly killing his elder brother following a domestic argument. The 36-year-old accused, identified as Ajay Sudhakar Goghale, allegedly stabbed his brother Nitin at their house in Mumbra.
40-year-old Nitin Goghale lived with his parents, wife and younger brother at Manisha Nagar in Mumbra. As per police, Ajay Goghale started an argument with his mother when she served him food. When Ajay began abusing his mother, his elder brother Nitin saw this and came forward to stop Ajay. This infuriated the accused and he picked up a knife and stabbed the victim to death.
Though the victim was rushed to a hospital by relatives, doctors declared him brought dead, the police added. The police have arrested and booked the accused for murder.
