The only reason for accidents is the bad and narrow roads. The roads are not straight and un-necessary curves every where and no dividers on road. The ministers travel following a police car so they are safe. People spend crores on donating to temples but the roads to temples are also dangerous. The general public should come out with a commitment to provide space for widening the roads.

The Law of the country cannot help because in India there is a stay order even for construction of NH road and roads will always remain same and there will be increase in number of cars and accidents. People can simply file PIL with supreme courts and the roads can be better but no party is interested on this.

This is a very tragic incident looking at the state of the car front seat passenger''s will be seriously wounded. We cannot say who''s fault it was for head on collusion will be either if the driver of one vehicle losses control or else while overtaking a vehicle.

Our roads the maximum speed limit to drive is 60 k.m if more than that naturally accidents occur if you are not very very careful our road''s are not wide enough. And mostly the trucks are driven by cleaner''s. May the departed soul rest in peace.

What else can we expect in a place where the hard shoulder ( yellow line on the edge of the road) is considered as aesthetic . It was really surprising that many of my friends who have Indian driving license , don''t know the purpose of hard shoulder . The key from my point of view to avoid such mishaps , is to tighten the screws on license issuance . Why don''t we inspire from the UAE format !!!!

With more and more potholes in more stretches of road, delay in travel time, makes drivers of vehicles to speed up where roads are good resulting in more accidents.

These road accidents cause more deaths than all the swine flues combined. We dont totall the numbers. If Daijiworld can give statistics of all the deaths due to traffic accidents - I am sure it will be an eye opener to all of us. - The problem is that we dont demand better roads and highways and there are no enforcement laws ( just tell me how many police do random checks on highways?). At least these tragedies should make us change some rules and get us to demand better highways and roads.
