Mangalore: One New Suspected Swine Flu Case in DK, No Fresh Cases in Udupi

Mangalore, Sep 3: On Wednesday September 2, a fresh case of suspected swine flu was reported from the district. An 18 month-old baby girl from Kannur in Kerala, who was being treated for cold and fever in a local hospital since the last ten days, has been suspected to be suffering from swine flu, as the baby is yet to recover. The nasal swabs of the baby have been collected and sent for testing.

In the meanwhile, Udupi district went without any new H1N1 infection case on Wednesday.

    Swine flu is spreading here in Europe, I hope the disease can be contained in Mangalore and for all who fall ill there should be a qualified treatment available in Mangalore. Best Kurt
