Mangalore: Nominations for Rachana Awards Invited

Mangalore, Oct 21: RACHANA, Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry has invited applications for nominations or recommendations along with the photographs to give away Rachana Awards. 

The application should reach the RACHANA office on or before November 20 on the following address, The president, RACHANA, Bishop’s House, Kodialbail, Mangalore – 575003 or e-mail rachanamangalore@gmail.com. A panel of 15 jury members will scrutinize the nominations or recommendations and select the most deserving, who will be awarded at a ceremony to be held at Milagres Jubilee Hall here on Sunday January 10 at 6.30 pm. Bishop Aloysius Paul D’Souza will preside. 

Rachana Award is instituted by RACHANA, Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry to honour outstanding individual Catholics originating from Mangalore diocese and excelled in their respective fields. The award given away to achievers in five categories namely Rachana Agriculturist of the year, rachana Entrepreneur of the year, Rachana Professional of the year (doctor, engineers, lawyers and chartered accountants), Rachana NRI Entrepreneur/Professinal of the year and Rachana Outstanding Woman of the year, consists of a title, citation, memento and public honour.
