Mumbai, Feb 10: Kannada Sangha Santacruz celebrated its 62nd anniversary at Billava Bhavan, Santacruz on Saturday February 8. Andheri Bandra regional committee president, Dr R K Shetty was the chief guest. President of the sangha, L V Ameen presided over the programme. Well known auditor, president of Javab organization, CA I R Shetty lighted the lamp and inaugurated the programme.

Office bearers of the sangha were present. The sangha distributed annual health fund amount and adopted students.

Members of the sangha and children presented entertainment and various cultural programmes. Sriguru Narayana Yakshagana mandali performed ‘Maripooje’ yakshagana play.

Female members of the sangha sang a prayer song. Sujatha R Shetty welcomed the gathering and compered the programme. Bannanje Ravindra Ameen read out the list of beneficiary students. Shakila P Shetty and Laxmi N Kotian introduced the guests. Joint secretary Chandrahas J Kotian rendered vote of thanks.
