Kundapur: 'Blueprint for Byndoor’s Devpt with Rs 100 Crore Ready'

Kundapur, Oct 24: The blueprint for the development of Byndoor constituency expending Rs 100 crore is ready, said Shimoga MP B Y Raghavendra.

He was speaking at the consultative meeting of BJP leaders and workers at the Lalitambika Sabhagriha of Kollur Mookambika Temple here on Friday October 23. “The Byndoor constituency that comprises plains and coastal region is predominantly a rural area”, he said and assured the concerned that he will strive to develop the region.

The locals will be soon taken into confidence and a discussion on 30 crore worth Gundoor dam proposed to be built at Aloor will be held. Chief Minister’s special officer Nagarajaiah will be sent to the spot to study about the pros and cons of the project and will be taken up only if it is people-friendly, he stressed.

He also received memorandums on the occasion from the workers and local leaders. Byndoor MLA K Lakshminarayan and Byndoor BJP block president Suresh Shetty were present.

MLA Raghavendra had arrived at the temple on Thursday October 22. During his stay he conducted Chandikahoma at the temple.
