Mangalore: CME on Hypthyroidism Management held at Fr Muller

Mangalore, Oct 25: The department of medicine Fr Muller Medical College (FMMC) in association with Dr Reddy Pharmaceuticals organized the second CME on Hypthyroidism –An Overview on Management at the conference hall of the college here recently.

Speaking on the occasion, FMMC administrator Fr Denis D’Sa said that the CME programmes help the medical professionals to learn new things. 
 
Dr Ganesh H.K, consultant Endocrinologist, A J Shetty Hospital and Research Centre was the resource person. In his lecture he spoke about the detection and management of hypothyroidism in pregnancy and juvenile hypothyroidism. He also discussed some practical points of sub-clinical hypothyroidism. 

Dr K S Bhat, consultant, medicine department, FMMC Hospital chaired the session, which was followed by question and answer session. The  programme was held to mark the decennial year of FMMC.
