Bengaluru: Ravikumar says Siddaramaiah has exposed his mental bankruptcy

Bengaluru, Feb 13: BJP general secretary N Ravikumar, launched a verbal tirade against Siddaramaiah, who had branded the state government led by the BJP as wretched.

"Siddaramaiah has again begun to use abusive language. The word 'Daridra (wretched) used by him against the state government suits his own government which he ran for five years and handled it like the 'Tughlaq' rule. He has been showing to the people his total mental bankruptcy. He should withdraw this word," he insisted.

Addressing a press meet here on Wednesday February 12, Ravikumar said that the Congress, which has become a divided house, is moving towards extinction. He lampooned the party for not being able to find a leader to lead the party. He asked Siddaramaiah to keep all these things in mind before speaking against the others.

Ravikumar said that those who lost houses during floods were given five lac rupees as compensation. He said that the government also waived loans of weavers and fishermen and compensation of five lac rupees is being disbursed to those who lost houses in floods. Ravikumar said that the Congress, instead of functioning as a constructive opposition, has been whiling away time in bickering.

"BJP gained in Delhi election by way of votes and number of seats. As Kejriwal and Sonia entered into a secret pact, the BJP was deprived of power there. As many as 67 Congress candidates there lost their deposits and the voter percentage went down to four percent. Still surprisingly, Rahul Gandhi and Siddaramaiah are feeling happy," he said, adding that the BJP always wants to have a strong opposition.
