Jubail, Oct 27: The Annual  gathering of Darul Irshad  Saudi Arabia was held on 23rd October 2009 at Jubail.  Darul Irshad Saudi Arabia  originally head quartered at  Riyadh ( Now moved to Dammam)  is the Saudi committee  of the Darul Irshad Education Centre , Mani. Various unit and zonal committees of Darul Irshad are functioning across Saudi Arabia.

Jubail , the happening  city in Saudi Arabia,  hosted this year’s  annual event of Darul Irshad  in a grand way. The newly inaugurated function hall of Hotel COOKXON provided the perfect  venue for this well attended annual meeting of the Darul Irshad.

Shaikuna Mani Usthad , the founder of the Darul Irshad Education was the chief guest.  Delivering his key note address, the Mani Usthad lauded the efforts done by the central committee and various other committees of Darul Irshad of Saudi Arabia in providing all kinds of  assistance to the  Institution. He said, thanks to the effort  done in Saudi Arabia, Darul Irshad Education Centre  Mani could buy a commercial complex in Mangalore that provides permanent source of income to the Institution. He also called upon the youngsters to  dedicate themselves to the cause of religious service and support all the religious and educational Institutions  of Mangalore such as Markaz tha’leemul Ihsan. Manjanady Ytheem Khana, Markazul Huda Women’s College in addition to Darul Irshad.

Janab Ishaq Haji, the president of the organization presided over  the function.  Janab  Yousuf Saqafi baithar  welcomed the gathering  and gave valuable advice  to the Darul Irshad fraternity. Janab Haji Ismail Kinnya, the working president of Dakshina Karnataka Sunni Centre and the member Darul Irshad Central committee, appreciated  the great efforts done at Darul Irshad Mani and urged the members to work hard to fulfill the vision of Shaikuna Mani Usthad. Janab Shahul Hameed read the report of 2008 – 2009.Janab Kamarudeen compered  the function and conducted swearing in formality of newly elected office bearers for the year 2009 -2010. Janab Asif Goodinabali supervised the election  of new committee.

Janab Anwar Hussain  Goodinabali was unanimously elected as the president of Saudi Arabia National Committee of Darul Irshad. Addressing the gathering, he sought the wholehearted cooperation of everybody to take Darul Irshad to new heights. Janab shahul Hameed Ujire was elected as the general secretary.  Janab Hamza Haji Mithur proposed vote of thanks
