Beltangady, Nov 8: The ritual ‘Chappara Muhurta’ for the public pandal of World Tulu Convention and pandal of Annapurana dining hall in Dharmastala here was held on Saturday November 7.
The ritual was set to motion by Dharmastala dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade. On the occasion, Heggade hoped that the pandal works goes on smoothly and the convention becomes a success.
As it is expected the convention will draw lacs of people, 1.1 lac sqft public pandal and 1.18 lac sqft pandal for dining will be put up.
D Harshendra Kumar, SDM Institutions vice-president Prof S Prabhakar and Convention Committee secretary Dr B Yashoverma were present.
