Udupi: Kannada Sahitya Parishad president Vaidehi, husband Srinivasamurthy felicitated

Udupi, Mar 2: Udupi district’s 14th Kannada Literary conference will be held in the leadership of Udupi district Kannada Sahitya Parishad in the cooperation of the department of Kannada and Culture, Udupi at Chetana High School, Hangarkatte on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15. Committee members in the leadership of parishad president Neelavara Surendra Adiga felicitated and handed over an invitation to well-known author Attimabbe awardee Vadelhi alias Janaki Srinivasamurthy who will be presiding over the conference and her husband K L Srinivasamurthyat their residence at ‘Iruvantige’ on Monday.

Vaidehi was requested to conduct the two daylong conference on Saraswathi Bai Rajavade stage that is conducive to Kannada language, culture, tradition, Janapada and art. Vaidehi responding to the honour thanked Udupi district Kannada Sahitya Parishat unit office-bearers and wished that the conference may become memorable in the participation of all.

Parishad district honorary secretary Subrahmanya Shetty, Karkala taluk parishad president Kondalli Prabhaker Shetty, Kaup taluk president B Pundalik Marate, Brahmavar taluk president Sooralu Narayan Madi and representative of local groups, Bhuvanaprasad Hegde were present.
