Mangaluru: MRPL inaugurates auditorium, toilet block at Muchchoor school

Mangaluru, Mar 3: MRPL supported projects of providing a new auditorium to Higher Primary School, Muchchoor and a toilet block to Primary School, Muchchoor which were inaugurated by Bharat Shetty - MLA, Mangaluru North in the presence of Sanjay Varma, GGMI/c Refinery - MRPL, Zila Panchayat president, ZP CEO, members and other officials March 1.

MRPL supported these projects by contributing Rs 18.64 lac for the auditorium and Rs 6.95 lac for the toilet block. While speaking on the occasion Sanjay Varma said, "MRPL is happy to join hands with schools for the development in education, especially in rural areas. Primary and High School education forms a foundation for every student to grow in his/her career."
Varma wished good luck to the students to get the benefits of the facilities and excel in their career.

MLA Shetty also spoke on the occasion and said that it is one such effort to develop schools to the next level. He thanked MRPL for helping in providing basic facilities to the schools.

MRPL under CSR has constructed 173 toilet blocks in 79 schools and colleges of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts in the last five years.
