Udupi, Mar 18: As a precautionary measure to contain and prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID – 19), the management of Kasturba Hospital, Manipal has decided that all OPDs will function only in the morning hours between 8.30 am to 1.00 pm with immediate effect. The public is hereby advised to visit the hospital only for medical emergency or urgent services. All planned visits should be restricted.
In the case of patients who have been admitted, only one attender will be allowed to stay with them. Entry to the intensive care units (ICUs), post-operative intensive care units is completely restricted for visiting. The emergency services will be functional as usual. Senior citizens and children are requested to come only in the case of medical emergencies, stated the medical superintendent
